Privacy Policy & Terms of Service

1. Who we are

BigBoyBot ("we", "us", "the bot") is operated as an individual sole trader providing Discord bot services for Hero Wars Alliance guilds. For any privacy question, join our support Discord and ask in the #support channel.

2. What we collect

We collect only what's needed to run the bot's features inside the Discord servers ("guilds") that install it:

• Discord account data — your Discord user ID, username, and the roles/permissions assigned to you within a guild.
• Guild data — the guild ID, server name, and which bot features/roles the server admin has enabled.
• Hero Wars Alliance game data — member names, guild war results, and performance statistics that a guild's admins or officers submit or that the bot retrieves for features such as the live leaderboard, war tracking, and reporting tools.
• Subscription/billing status — which tier a guild is subscribed to, whether payment is current, and the guild ID linked to that subscription. We do not store card numbers or full payment details — those are handled entirely by Stripe (see Section 5).

We do not read private messages, voice content, or any Discord data unrelated to the bot's features.

3. Why we collect it

• To operate the bot's commands and features inside your guild as configured by your guild's admins.
• To run the public leaderboard and in-dashboard reporting tools.
• To manage subscription tiers, billing status, and feature access per guild.
• To contact a guild owner about billing, support, or service issues.

5. Third parties we share data with

• Discord — the bot operates through Discord's API; your use of Discord is also governed by Discord's own Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone for marketing or any other purpose.

6. Cookies & local storage

bigboybot.online uses your browser's local storage only to remember a simple preference — whether you've muted the background music. No tracking cookies or analytics scripts are used on the public site.

7. Data retention & deletion

We retain guild and member data for as long as the bot remains active in a guild, plus a reasonable period afterward for billing and support records. If you'd like your data removed, join our support Discord and message us in #support with your Discord ID and guild name and we'll action it, except where we're required to keep billing records for legal/tax purposes.

8. Disclaimer

BigBoyBot and War Helper Bot are provided "as-is." We make no guarantee of uninterrupted uptime, and we are not responsible for in-game disputes, guild conflicts, or decisions made by guild members or officers based on data the bot provides.

1. The service

BigBoyBot provides Discord bot software ("BigBoyBot" and "War Helper Bot") and an accompanying web dashboard for Hero Wars Alliance Discord guilds, offered under the subscription tiers below. By inviting the bot to your server or subscribing to a paid tier, you agree to these terms.

2. Subscription tiers & billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly, in advance, via Stripe, and renew automatically each month until cancelled.

Prices are shown in GBP and may be updated from time to time; you'll be notified of any price change before it applies to your next billing cycle.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the dashboard or by contacting us on our support Discord in #support. Cancellation stops future renewals; we do not provide refunds for the unused portion of a billing period already paid for, unless required by law or agreed by us in writing.

5. Acceptable use

• You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the bot or dashboard without our written permission.
• You may not attempt to abuse, exploit, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the bot, dashboard, or underlying infrastructure.
• The guild owner/admins are responsible for how bot permissions and roles are configured within their own Discord server, and for the conduct of users they grant elevated access to.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any guild or user found to be abusing the service, attempting fraud, or violating Discord's Terms of Service.

6. Limitation of liability

The bot and dashboard are provided "as-is" and "as-available," without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Discord outages, API changes, or downtime outside our control.
• Loss of guild data, leaderboard history, or configuration due to suspension, cancellation, or technical issues.
• In-game disputes, guild conflicts, or decisions made by your members based on bot-provided data.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

7. Changes to the service or these terms

We may update these Terms or modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the bot or dashboard after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
